Most of the time, people simply want a new computer, and their old one still works great. They would like a newer, more state-of-the-art model, but the old one will still work for someone. If you donate your old computer system, you can actually get a tax deduction. In case you are concerned about the data on your hard drive, you can go to a computer repair shop and ask for help. For a small charge, they can remove your data or may do it at no cost if you say that you will be donating it.
